In the UI task, my primary responsibility was to undertake a comprehensive overhaul of the existing design system within the Vodafone SDK, replacing it with the newly introduced Vodafone design system. This transition was intended to encompass all aspects of the SDK's user interface, spanning across various processes and components.
The objective was to fully embrace the updated design paradigm, incorporating the latest design elements, styles, and guidelines as dictated by the new Vodafone design system. This transition aimed to ensure a unified, cohesive, and harmonious user interface experience that aligns perfectly with Vodafone's refreshed brand identity and design standards.
To accomplish this, I embarked on a multi-faceted process that encompassed:

Component Update
I systematically updated and replaced the existing UI components within the SDK with the counterparts provided by the new design system. This involved reevaluating buttons, forms, navigation elements, and other UI elements to ensure they adhered to the updated design principles.

Styling Revisions
I meticulously adjusted the styling of various UI elements, including typography, colors, spacing, and iconography, to match the precise specifications outlined in the new design system. This attention to detail was crucial in achieving design consistency.

Interaction Patterns
The task also required a review of interaction patterns and user flows to ensure that they conformed to the new design standards. This involved refining the user experience and making adjustments where necessary.
HIGH-FIDELITY DESIGNS
After completing the design system updates, I developed high-fidelity screens for the SDK using the updated Vodafone design system and in accordance with specific business requirements. These screens provided a precise visualization of the SDK’s interface, ensuring that each element met Vodafone’s standards of usability, aesthetics, and brand consistency.
